BY PURCHASING A DESIGN PACKAGE WITH J.MILES DESIGN, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SERVICE:

✓ What’s Included + Edit Policy
Each design package includes up to 8 edits.
An edit is defined as any time we resend a revised version of your design based on your feedback. That counts as one round—even if you ask for multiple changes in that round.
To get the most out of your edits, we recommend compiling a clear, consolidated list for each round (example: change paint color, swap rugs, update lighting).
Once you’ve used all 8 edits, additional revisions will incur an added fee.

✓ Turnaround Time & Design Queue
Once you purchase a design package, your project will be placed in our design queue.
Current turnaround to begin projects is approximately 3–4 weeks. You’ll receive an email and a notification in our design portal once your designer begins your project.

✓ No Refunds (but packages are transferable)
We do not offer refunds for any reason once the design process has started.
If you’re unable to move forward with your project, you’re welcome to transfer or gift your package to someone else, just let us know and we’ll update the project name on our end.

✓ Measurements & Client Responsibility
This is a virtual service, which means we rely on your submitted measurements to ensure everything fits properly in your space.
We’ll design using those numbers, but J.Miles Design cannot be held responsible for incorrect measurements or fit issues.
Please double-check all dimensions (walls, ceiling height, windows, doors, furniture, etc.) before submitting and again before ordering.
Need help? We’re happy to send a basic measurement guide upon request.

✓ Style Alignment
By booking with us, you acknowledge that you are familiar with J.Miles Design’s aesthetic, as seen on our website and social media, and that you feel our look and approach is a good fit for your home.

✓ How We Communicate
All project communication takes place in our online design portal, this helps keep everything organized and ensures nothing is missed.
Phone calls are not included unless specifically outlined in your design package.

✓ Online Product Selection Disclaimer
Because we work remotely, we do not physically inspect the products we recommend.
We carefully select items based on quality, style, and reviews, but items may look or feel different in person.
If something doesn’t work out once it arrives, we’ll help recommend an alternative within your overall plan.



✓ Designer Assignment
Our talented design team will assign your project to the designer best suited to your needs and style. All designers operate under the creative direction of J.Miles Design to ensure a cohesive experience.

✓ Design Sharing & Privacy
We love sharing our work and often post mood boards, renderings, or completed spaces to social media and marketing channels.
If you’d prefer we don’t share your design, just let us know at the start of your project, we’re happy to honor that request.

✓ Package Expiration
Your package must be initiated within 12 months of your purchase date.
After that, pricing may change and the original value may no longer be valid.
